Hi, I’m Jeffrey, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing as a therapist for over 10 years. I am located in Oakland, CA and see clients both virtually and in person. I also serve as a Clinical Supervisor for Rose Therapy.

My experience is rooted in depth oriented, somatic and experiential approaches such as EMDR, IFS, ACT and Mindful Self Compassion. As a certified EMDRIA EMDR Consultant, I have co-authored the Parts Informed EMDR Protocol, which I have developed into workshops and trainings for other therapists learning to combine EMDR with Parts work. These two approaches can be powerful, synergistic tools for deep healing.

My approach as a therapist is about helping clients get to the root of their struggles so that they can heal from the inside out. With self compassion at the core, I help guide clients towards a deep experience of their truest selves. Many of my clients have experienced early attachment wounds and childhood traumas of various kinds, and are looking to finally unravel stuck patterns. I work with adults of all ages and with a lot of folks from the LGBTQIA+ community.

In addition, I am experienced in alternative approaches to healing such as Buddhist Based Psychology, Ketamine Assisted Therapy, psychedelic integration, and holotropic breathwork. I offer these and other additional wellness services as a life coach through Menla Healing East Bay.

In my personal life, I enjoy playing guitar, writing songs, and spending time with my partner and my dog Mandy.
